With contineous effort in generating and engaging new artisans, upgrading production facilities, supplying updated tools and implements, the co-op has endeavoured to bring forth numerous activities for a more empowered forest and palm-based livelihood.
- 200 nos. of artisan families were provided with improved toolkits under promotional activities of Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) in Gajapati District, and 100 nos. of artisan families in Angul District, followed by 5 days of training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- 6 training programmes on Date-Palm Jaggery making completed in Gajapati District, involving 270 tribal youths.
- Initiation of training on Date-Palm Jaggery making in Malkangiri District.
- Initiation of a training programme on Date-Palm Jaggery making in association with Saura Development Agency (SDA), involving 45 tribal youths.
- 2 training programmes on palm leaf decorative handicraft items started at Banamalipur in Cuttack District, involving 30 women artisans under the Craft Village Scheme of the Directorate of Handicraft & Cottage Industries, Odisha.
- Training programme on palm leaf decorative craft items involving 30 women artisans at Banamalipur, Cuttack District, and 60 women artisans in Khordha District under the Craft Village Programme (CVP).
- New cluster under the Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI) sanctioned for Dhenkanal District (an aspirational district), involving 300 palm artisans.
